Your vacation will be much better when you bring your Bernedoodle along, and thankfully there are plenty of dog-friendly destinations to visit in the United States. From the golden beaches of San Diego to hiking the mountains of Oregon and Utah, your dogs will have continuous fun on the road with you. Some cities embrace canines and offer doggie spas and off-leash parks.

It doesn’t matter whether you are road tripping or flying with your Bernedoodle for a fun getaway; there are plenty of beautiful landscapes and dog-friendly urban centers across the country. Sell some Bernedoodle puppies so you can afford to book yourself a pet-friendly hotel, pack your pet’s food, vacation records, favorite toys, and travel gear, and you are all set and ready for the trip of a lifetime.

    Sedona, Arizona

Get some impressive shots with your furry four-legged Bernedoodle against the backdrop of the red rock country in Sedona, Arizona. Your active dog will love venturing into Slide Rock State Park, a 43-acre park in Oak Creek Canyon just outside Coconino National Forest, known for iconic red rocks, alpine tundra, and the Ponderosa Pine Forests. Surprisingly most of Sedona’s best hiking trails are suitable for dogs.

You can also sign up for many pet-friendly tours, which offer great backpacking, camping trips, and Indian ruin site visits. For those looking to stay within the city limits can make an afternoon out of a visit to the wonderful Sedona Dog Park, the city’s ver first and only dog park. The views are immaculate, and it even has areas separate for small, large, and senior dogs. There is also a large natural area for hiking off-leash.

    Kanab, Utah

Kanab is a somewhat small town located in Southwestern Utah bordering Arizona; the main attraction is the Best Friends Animal Society’s sanctuary, which is the largest no-kill companion shelter in the country. It spreads across 3,700 acres; the sanctuary houses adoptable dogs, bunnies, cats, farm animals, horses, and orphaned or injured wild animals. You may even be able to find another lovely Maltese Poodle; you can finally complete your family!

    Bend, Oregon

This place is for outdoor lovers; you will feel like you are in heaven when visiting Bend, Oregon, the city along the Deschutes River surrounded by National Forests, extinct volcanoes, and alpine lakes. Legends say that bend has the highest per capita dog population in the world, with an estimated 49 percent, of residents owning at least one dog.

Take your puppy on a refreshing walk on the Deschutes River Trail or the Farewell Bend Park path. If your dog needs to cool down, there are plenty of opportunities to jump into the water or swim. Or, if you want a little more of an adventure, you can rent a canoe from Tumalo Creek Kayak & Canoe.

If you are a serious hiker, Deschutes National Forest has many trails along Douglas firs, including the fan favorite of North Fork Trail. In the winter, you will be able to make snow angels with your tiny pooch on ski trails at Wanoga, Edison.

    San Diego, California

With sunshine, surf, and miles of sandy shoreline, you’ve got an ideal destination for your beach vacation with your sidekick. You will be delighted after getting picture-perfect vistas along the cliff-lined coasts of La Jolla and Del Mar, from Ocean Beach or Dog Beach, and lots of others.

If you happen to be visiting in July, don’t miss out on the Unleashed Surf Dog competition at Imperial Beach, which is the largest dog surfing competition in the nation. Other popular dog-friendly activities include walking the streets of Old Town San Diego State Historic Park.

    Conclusion

You might not be able to make up your mind because there are so many different places you want to go, but remember you’ve got a lifetime so you can visit them all at one point. Just remember to make the most of each trip because it may only be a once-in-a-lifetime thing; go all out!
